The environmental agenda has been infected by extremism—it’s become an economic suicide pact. And we’re here to challenge it. On Earth Day, visit http://www.freemarketamerica.org.

We all know why the Watermelons (Green outside, red inside) want America to fail. A failed state is ripe for totalitarian takeover. Just ask the Germans, the Russians, the Chinese, the Cubans, the Venezuelans, the Vietnamese, the Rhodesians (if you can find any), soon the Argentinians. and on and on and on.

And to remind you of how long the Watermelon totalitarians and their media accomplices have been working on this:

Part One: Taking Fame and Casting Blame

The Department of Education operates a wide range of subsidy programs for elementary and secondary schools. The aid and related federal regulations have not generally lifted academic achievement. The department also subsidizes higher education through student loan programs. Unfortunately, that aid has fueled inflation in college tuition and is subject to widespread abuse. The department spent about $48 billion in 2013, or $400 for every U.S. household. It employs 4,300 workers and operates 153 different subsidy programs.

The full statement is as follows:

The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

Since the jury decided that the tragedy was a result of justifiable self defense, the “future tragedies” will not be the attacker but the attacked. Does that sound better to anyone other than attackers, muggers, rapists, thieves and/or wannabe tyrannical government?

Yeah I know adding government was redundant to the prior description of what government has become, but, I’m going to leave it there.

A video of Rutherford County deputies stopping a Middle Tennessee State University student at a DUI checkpoint, then asking him to pull over and searching his car after he wouldn’t roll the window all the way down, is nearing 2 million hits on YouTube.

Libertarians nationwide have been recording interactions with police in a campaign to demonstrate what they call violations of constitutional rights. A party representative said Chris Kalbaugh, 21, checked in and got the go-ahead for such a demonstration before he stopped at the checkpoint and encountered Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputy A.J. Ross.

Kalbaugh’s video camera was recording from the passenger seat, aimed toward the driver’s side window.

In the video, Ross asks Kalbaugh to roll down his window farther, and Kalbaugh refuses, saying it’s fine where it is. When Kalbaugh continues to challenge Ross’ demands, Ross orders him to pull his car over and step out. Later, a drug dog…

It appears that the K-9 officer has trained his dog to alert on command. This practice has become so ubiquitous that it has become a standard way of getting around the legal process of getting a warrant. Until dogs start passing the bar and elected to judgeships, it is time to end giving dogs such authority.

As a veteran and long time (since 1978) Libertarian whose brand of libertarianism was relabeled as Neolibertarian (a description I heartedly embraced) by the crew at QandO back in 2004, I believe that Sarah-Cuda just laid out why we need a strong revolt from the self-privileged, self-entitled, thieves, poltroons and con-men of the political class.

On America’s News HQ, Sarah Palin criticized both Republicans and Democrats who “caved” in to President Obama’s “wishes to legalize illegal aliens.”

Palin slammed the bill and its supporters, saying “it’s a matter of a lack of principle and respect the law.” She even called it a “betrayal” to law-abiding Americans and legal immigrants. “It doesn’t solve any of the problems that we may have with immigration.”

When it comes to NSA leaker Edward Snowden, Palin said he needs to face the consequences of his actions if he did indeed violate the law. “We are still a nation that respects the rule of law, right, even though amnesty bill just sort of thwarted all that.”

Why who’s in charge, of course!!!

When the story broke that the NSA has spent the past several years collecting the phone records of millions of U.S. mobile customers, the Obama administration and other lawmakers were quick to dismiss the immense privacy implications posed by such information.

We disagree, and believe then-Senator and now-Vice President Joe Biden got it right in 2006 while commenting on the Bush-era NSA’s similar mass collection of calling records.
