“Legal encapsulation is not effectively possible,” declares Cody Wilson of Defense Distributed, makers of the world’s first gun made via 3D printing technology. “So it’s fun to kind of challenge the state to greater and greater levels of its own hyper-statism.”

Last year, Wilson and crew unveiled The Liberator, a plastic pistol they created on a 3D printer that fired a shot heard around the world. Then they put the 3D-printing files (or CADs) up on the Internet for free. To folks interested in cutting-edge technology and decentralized experiments in living, Wilson’s gun symbolized an age of uncontrollable freedom. To lawmakers, it symbolized a threat that moved faster than, well, a speeding bullet. The State Department, in fact, shut down Defense Distributed’s ability to disseminate the gun files on the Internet, claiming the nonprofit was violating federal rules about exporting munitions.

A self-declared crypto-anarchist, the 26-year-old Wilson is fighting the situation in court—and relishing every minute of his battle with the government.

While he’s aggressively challenging restrictions on 3D-printed guns, Wilson is also working on an innovative Bitcoin project called Dark Wallet, which would further anonymize financial transactions on the Web, and a book intended to inspire a new generation of digital libertarians.

Reason TV’s Todd Krainin sat down with Wilson at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.

Authorities destroy cameras to prevent account of raid…

When critics warn about the dangers of police militarization, this is what we\’re talking about. You’ll see the raid team, dressed in battle-dress uniforms, helmets and face-covering balaclava hoods take down the family’s door with a battering ram. You’ll see them storm the home with ballistics shields, guns at the ready. More troubling still, you’ll see not one but two officers attempt to prevent the family from having an independent record of the raid, one by destroying a surveillance camera, another by blocking another camera’s lens.

RAID FILMED: Ankeny Police ‘Traumatize’ Family in IowaANKENY,

IOWA WHOTV: New information regarding the story reported Monday night regarding a search warrant that was executed at a Des Moines home, looking for about $1000 worth of items purchased with a stolen credit card. Ankeny police spokeswoman Captain Makai Echer says officers consider several factors when deciding whether to send officers similar to a SWAT team to a house to serve a warrant, or simply knock on the door.In this case, Echer says, officers looked at suspect’s criminal histories and whether there could be firearms in the home. Of the three suspects that were present in the home, one has a violent arrest record for two assaults about 13-years ago and a domestic assault.Another suspect did have a permit to carry a weapon. Echer would not comment on whether that played a role in the decision. She would also not comment on whether it was appropriate for a police officer to rip a security camera from the front of the house after officers had already entered.

Every citizen a slave!

The fifth amendment ends with “…nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.” But “spread the wealth” buys a lot of votes from the unproductive. It is simply a function of our OccuTard government.

The full statement is as follows:

The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

Since the jury decided that the tragedy was a result of justifiable self defense, the “future tragedies” will not be the attacker but the attacked. Does that sound better to anyone other than attackers, muggers, rapists, thieves and/or wannabe tyrannical government?

Yeah I know adding government was redundant to the prior description of what government has become, but, I’m going to leave it there.

You must first know that you CANNOT buy a gun from gun dealer on the internet or at a gun show without a background check. The “gun show loophole” does not really exist, the sales that don’t get the NICS instant check are those sales that are between individuals (usually in the parking lot because the actual gun dealers inside don’t want the competition) and internet gun sales from gun dealers are only shipped to your local dealer for delivery, and that local dealer runs the NICS check, fills out the paperwork, and charges a fee before he hands you that “internet purchase”.Anyone who sells five guns a year (even from an inherited collection) must have a Federal Firearms License and follow those rules or is already criminal.

Now explain to me how the feds will verify that a background check was ever made without keeping records of who the background checks were run on. Under the current system firearm dealers are required to keep them while the government is required by law to scrub the record of the check being called in within 24 hours. Any “universal” system will result in recordkeeping which will be a de facto registration system of gunowners if not specific guns. That still enables confiscation which has always followed registration at some later date.

That issue has been ignored and obfuscated by the misdirection of trying to get this backdoor registration enacted.

Quoting Admiral Akbar, “It’s a trap!”

Ascribing good intentions to politicRats is a fool’s game.

The mental illness and state felony needs are also fiction because they are already covered in the NICS checks, IF THE STATES AND SHRINKS BOTHER TO REPORT THEM.

Here is the list from fbi.gov:

Federal Categories of Persons Prohibited From Receiving

A delay response from the NICS Section indicates the subject of the background check has been matched with either a state or federal potentially prohibiting record containing a similar name and/or similar descriptive features (name, sex, race, date of birth, state of residence, social security number, height, weight, or place of birth). The federally prohibiting criteria are as follows:

  • A person who has been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year or any state offense classified by the state as a misdemeanor and is punishable by a term of imprisonment of more than two years.
  • Persons who are fugitives of justice—for example, the subject of an active felony or misdemeanor warrant.
  • An unlawful user and/or an addict of any controlled substance; for example, a person convicted for the use or possession of a controlled substance within the past year; or a person with multiple arrests for the use or possession of a controlled substance within the past five years with the most recent arrest occurring within the past year; or a person found through a drug test to use a controlled substance unlawfully, provided the test was administered within the past year.
  • A person adjudicated mental defective or involuntarily committed to a mental institution or incompetent to handle own affairs, including dispositions to criminal charges of found not guilty by reason of insanity or found incompetent to stand trial.
  • A person who, being an alien, is illegally or unlawfully in the United States.
  • A person who, being an alien except as provided in subsection (y) (2), has been admitted to the United States under a non-immigrant visa.
  • A person dishonorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces.
  • A person who has renounced his/her United States citizenship.
  • The subject of a protective order issued after a hearing in which the respondent had notice that restrains them from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such partner. This does not include ex parte orders.
  • A person convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime which includes the use or attempted use of physical force or threatened use of a deadly weapon and the defendant was the spouse, former spouse, parent, guardian of the victim, by a person with whom the victim shares a child in common, by a person who is cohabiting with or has cohabited in the past with the victim as a spouse, parent, guardian or similar situation to a spouse, parent or guardian of the victim.
  • A person who is under indictment or information for a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.

The third to last of these has often been used maliciously by proto-politicians, (lawyers who have yet to run for office) to punish, harrass and disarm potential victims as a tactic in divorce proceedings.

I can only guess why they lie about this, but it appears to me that it what has become, in fact, if not in name, the National Socialist American Union Workers Party has plans for emulating its predecessor.
(Godwin forgive me)

Christopher Scott “Chris” Kyle was a United States Navy SEAL and known as the most lethal sniper in American military history,

On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Kyle and a companion, Chad Littlefield, were shot and killed at the Rough Creek Lodge shooting range in Erath County, Texas[16] by 25-year-old fellow veteran Eddie Ray Routh, whom Kyle and Littlefield had purportedly taken to the gun range in an effort to help him with his post traumatic stress disorder

WATERTOWN, MA — On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people’s homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

AWR Hawkins went on Fox News’ Judge Jeanine on Saturday and emphasized that the federal government would have to create a gun registry in order to implement universal background checks and noted such legislation would not prevent tragedies like Sandy Hook from occurring.
Juan Williams, Fox News’ liberal pundit, and Hawkins, who has written extensively about Second Amendment issues, debated whether the father of a child killed at Sandy Hook was right when he stated that background checks and gun control are not necessarily the solutions to prevent such tragedies.
Responding to Williams’s comments that the notion that more background checks would create a national registry was “bogus” and “paranoid,” Hawkins said gun stores must to keep up to 20 years of records on gun purchases, and the ATF can–and often does–check those records whenever they want with regular and surprise visits.
“They can come in, look at those records, and figure out who has and hasn’t purchased a gun during the last 20 years,” Hawkins said. “That is a de facto registry.”
Hawkins also said for universal background checks to work, “there has to be a gun registry.”
“The government has to know where every gun is in order to know that I’m not selling a gun to my neighbor nor is my neighbor selling a gun to me.”
Hawkins also made the point that Adam Lanza, the Newtown shooter, “stole his gun,” proving that a national registry or more background checks would not have stopped him from carrying out the horrific Newtown massacre.
“Nothing would have stopped [him],” Hawkins said.
Hawkins also noted these points are not made in the mainstream press and the conventional narratives about gun control not challenged because those in the mainstream media like CBS’s Scott Pelley, ABC’s Jon Karl, NBC’s Chuck Todd, and MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough “are in with Obama to push more gun control.” He noted some in the media have even proclaimed that this was, “our last, best chance to pass gun control.”
