They Lie!

Wonkette, a progressive political blog, published an article a few days ago taunting and sneering at a three year old child with Down’s Syndrome. But they had sound reasons for doing so. The child in question was Sarah Palin’s disabled son Trig.

Here is complete video of Herman Cain’s speech at CPAC today. Cain called on Americans to “stay involved, stay informed, and stay inspired” in working to see to it that there is a new President in the White House after the 2012 Election. Cain said liberals like Obama are seeking the destruction of the United States as we know it, wanting to turn America into the U.S. of Europe. Cain said that is not going to happen “on our watch.” He has already formed a Presidential Exploratory Committee, and will likely be a candidate for the 2012 GOP Presidential Nomination.

For a decade, from the election of Bush 43 forward, the Left has lied and cheated as it tried to return to power. Al Gore made a mockery out of the American electoral system by being a spoilsport over Florida, which Bush indeed won by 537 votes. Dan Rather forged a document to try to derail Bush’s re-election. Twice Democrats stole U.S. senators from the Republicans. After voting to support the war to get by the 2002 election, many Democrats quickly soured on the war. The profane protests were cheered by liberals who misattributed “dissent is the highest form of patriotism”to Thomas Jefferson; the words belong to the late historian Howard Zinn.

Once in power, liberals were the opposite of gracious.

For two years now, I have been called ignorant, racist, angry and violent by the left. The very foul-mouthed protesters of Bush dare to now label my words as “hate speech.”

Last week, the left quickly blamed the right for the national tragedy of a shooting spree by a madman who never watched Fox News, never listened to Rush Limbaugh and likely did not know who Sarah Palin is.

Fortunately, the American public rejected out of hand that idiotic notion that the right was responsible.

Rather than apologize, the left wants to change the tone of the political debate.

The left suddenly wants civil discourse.

Bite me.

The left wants to play games of semantics.

Bite me.

The left wants us to be civil — after being so uncivil for a decade.

Nick Popaditch running for Representative for CA51 opens his debate with the incumbent Pelosi-bot Bob Filner by expressing his four qualifications for legislation.

1.What does his constituancy want?
2. Is it Constitutional?
3. Is it moral?
4. Is it ethical?

Now normally when a politician says anything remotely resembling this, I feel it is time to grab your wallet and jump into a bomb shelter. However Gunny Pop is a retired (not ex) Marine Gunnery Sergeant with a Silver Star, so I’m prepared to take him at his word (officers are occasionally political weasels but senior non-coms usually say exactly what they mean). And it is possibly the best concise statement of what a Representative should be doing that I’ve ever heard actually proposed.

Flight Lieutenant Ian Fortune is heard calmly telling his passengers:

“Just to let you know, I took a round through my front windscreen which came up and hit me in the head. I’ve got a bit of a crack and a bleed there.”

The bullet-riddled Chinook then starts malfunction and Flt Lt Fortune is heard saying:

“MAYDAY. This is Tricky 73. Nine miles to the south.”

He steered the chopper back to base despite being covered in blood – and was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross.The drama near Garmsir, Helmand, unfolded as he picked up casualties in a firefight between US forces and rebels.
