Zo brings you footage of a woman who is upset that she has to work in order to pay her bills. Zo reminds this anti-capitalist liberal that there is no such thing as a free car, or house, or health care.
Vernor Vinge is a former San Diego State University math professor and a Hugo award-winning science fiction novelist. The gunman who opened fire at a Florida school board on Tuesday has been identified as Clay Duke. His Facebook page and all traces of his online activity were quickly purged from the internet.
However, viewed before it was removed, his Facebook profile yielded insight into his worldview and the better understanding of his possible motives. On Facebook, Duke called government an evil monster.
His Bio read in part:
I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats… same-same… rich… they take turns fleecing us… our few dollars… pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%… the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us…Duke labeled himself a “Freedom Fighter.
Under religious views, he wrote, “Humanism.
Some of his favorite websites he listed included:
As Clay Duke spray painted the “V” for vendetta symbol on the wall of the auditorium a few minutes before his death, the same symbol used on his Facebook page, we were reminded how horrible and destructive a force is anarchy.Judging from his online activity, Mr. Duke embraced a decidedly anti-government philosophy from a leftist perspective, and targeted the school board because they had called for lower taxes, which he linked to his wife’s loss of a job.
So, once again, hate and class warfare led to violence.

Americans have more of a penchant for tax revolts than the British, but that may be changing. After thirty years of unchallenged tax increases, The Taxpayers’ Alliance formed in 2004 to advocate for lower taxes across the United Kingdom.Co-founder and Chief Executive of The Taxpayers’ Alliance Matthew Elliott sat down with Reason.tv to discuss the rising frustration with taxes in Britain and how TPA grew from a small group that met in coffee shops to a national media player.
I disagree with Kelly. The training the flight crew had was for “description of the suspect”. First, you are not supposed to leave your seat when the plane is taxiing, second I’m 6’5″ and 275lbs and have never damaged anything in a commuter jet, so how the the suspect damage the toilet and why didn’t he immediately report it the the flight crew? It might have been a test, it might have been staged either as a dry run or to give basis for a lawsuit, or it might have been innocent. Tell me why is shouldn’t be investigated. If you were on the plane, what would you think. CAIR can go suck an egg until they start condemning radical clerics, something you don’t hear them do.
From Director David Zucker “Call Me Madam Joe.” A super funny but sad look at Barbara Boxer and her distaste for our Military.
Let this video be my apology. Every time I see the public record listing my campaign contribution to Boxer — I wince. I mean, we all have things we’ve done in the past that we’re embarrassed about, but I’d rather have my being restricted to 100 yards away from elementary schools be public knowledge than that $5,000 Boxer campaign contribution.
Flight Lieutenant Ian Fortune is heard calmly telling his passengers:
“Just to let you know, I took a round through my front windscreen which came up and hit me in the head. I’ve got a bit of a crack and a bleed there.”
The bullet-riddled Chinook then starts malfunction and Flt Lt Fortune is heard saying:
“MAYDAY. This is Tricky 73. Nine miles to the south.”
