The full statement is as follows:

The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

Since the jury decided that the tragedy was a result of justifiable self defense, the “future tragedies” will not be the attacker but the attacked. Does that sound better to anyone other than attackers, muggers, rapists, thieves and/or wannabe tyrannical government?

Yeah I know adding government was redundant to the prior description of what government has become, but, I’m going to leave it there.

The crew at “Morning Joe” seem surprised and shocked when Niall Ferguson points out the obvious. Obummer does not have a cohesive foreign policy beyond feel-good speeches and his long term plan to weaken us economically enough that we transform from “The Great Satan” to “The Great Joke (or Whipping Boy, take your pick) granting us the safety of insignificance.

I found it humorous when Ferguson answered the question about the administration’s foreign policy talent by using his interviewer Mika’s daddy Zbigniew as the standard that no one met. In chess that is called “a fork”.

While I have mixed feelings about Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski, To me he is a democrat that is like Zell Miller (albeit with a totally different accent). He warned the Democrats that their pacifism was alienating part of their historical base. He worked for Kennedy, Carter and Reagan. The Kremlin blamed him or John Paul’s election as Pope. He became a US citizen in 1958 at the age of 30. Why can’t the USCIS find us more immigrants like him?

I couldn’t say it better, so read the whole thing here:

A Sample:

For a decade, from the election of Bush 43 forward, the Left has lied and cheated as it tried to return to power. Al Gore made a mockery out of the American electoral system by being a spoilsport over Florida, which Bush indeed won by 537 votes. Dan Rather forged a document to try to derail Bush’s re-election. Twice Democrats stole U.S. senators from the Republicans. After voting to support the war to get by the 2002 election, many Democrats quickly soured on the war. The profane protests were cheered by liberals who misattributed “dissent is the highest form of patriotism”to Thomas Jefferson; the words belong to the late historian Howard Zinn.

Once in power, liberals were the opposite of gracious.

For two years now, I have been called ignorant, racist, angry and violent by the left. The very foul-mouthed protesters of Bush dare to now label my words as “hate speech.”

Last week, the left quickly blamed the right for the national tragedy of a shooting spree by a madman who never watched Fox News, never listened to Rush Limbaugh and likely did not know who Sarah Palin is.

Fortunately, the American public rejected out of hand that idiotic notion that the right was responsible.

Rather than apologize, the left wants to change the tone of the political debate.

The left suddenly wants civil discourse.

Bite me.

The left wants to play games of semantics.

Bite me.

The left wants us to be civil — after being so uncivil for a decade.

Bite me.

The politicians are tying to sell the theory that reducing capacity of magazines will slow the criminal down so less people will die.First a criminal doesn’t obey the law and use a legislatively reduced capacity magazine. That means that only the law-abiding will have the legislatively reduced capacity magazines. So, it appears the law is designed to hamper the law-abiding in defending themselves.

But, there is another consideation. Really long exended magazines, if kept loaded for a lengthy period have problems with the degradation of their spings which leads to jamming. That would slow the criminal down more than a practiced magazine change as shown in the video below. So as usual in the District of Corruption, it is “it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury. Signifying nothing”.

Now that the heirs of Mussolini’s and Hitler’s Socialism have been temporarily muzzled, we have the opportunity to consign their lust for control of the American People to the dustbin of history just like their Fascistic  forebears.

Janet Incompetano’s stormtroopers at the TSA seem to be channeling the Zucker Brothers. When they are not groping a woman’s sanitary napkin, they are letting a guy on a plane with an undeclared Glock pistol in his luggage.

The Daily Mail reported:

The effectiveness of security at U.S. ports is being questioned after a businessman accidentally travelled on a flight with a loaded handgun in his luggage.
Iranian-American Farid Seif was screened by Trasport Security Administration officials at Houston airport in Texas. His hand luggage was also X-rayed before he took off on his international flight.

It wasn’t until Mr Seif arrived at his hotel several hours later that he realised that he had forgotten to unpack a loaded snub nose Glock pistol from his luggage before he embarked on his journey.

Of course, since he was an Iranian-American, any scrutiny would have been profiling, and we can’t have that! /sarc

Proof positive that security in US airports is politically correct form over function simply to make a show of security in order to establish another public service union to funnel money to the Dhimmicretins while conditioning Americans to get used to Fourth Amendment violations in the name of security.

First the body scanner, watch the TV under security man’s arm.

An inherited anticolonialist rage against domination by Western civilization, stemming from the beliefs of Obama’s father is what drives the President. D’Souza lays it all out in his book “The Roots of Obama’s Rage,” which you can get for free when you order Townhall Magazine. In this mind-blowing book D’Souza explains why Obama’s economic policies are designed to intentionally make America poorer, why he welcomes a nuclear Iran, why he sees the United States as a rogue nation, and much more.

For a example of D’Sousa’s premise read “Obama’s Problem With Business” here.
