President Obama’s latest jobs speech was like watching the rerun of a bad horror movie. He repeatedly repackages his failed Keynesian economic policies into the next “big” jobs program. In response, our economy crumbles around us. President Obama is clearly trapped in the Keynesian Twilight Zone.

As a report from CNN states, the Plan B deal would give the President a blank check debt limit increase in return for another “commission meant to find more major spending cuts, tax increases and entitlement reforms.”

We don’t need another useless commission, and we don’t need more tax increases to grow the federal government even larger.

We need to cut spending, cap spending and pass a balanced budget amendment to force Washington to stop spending more than we’re bringing in.

No more tax-hike commissions. We must pass Cut, Cap & Balance.

The Heritage Foundation and IER traveled to Harvey, LA, to film Leslie Bertucci, owner of R and D Enterprises, for this oil spill anniversary video. Bertucci welcomed us to her warehouse with a weary smile, handed us hard hats and cheerfully guided us through her equipment yard, even as she explained the difficulties she’s endured since the spill — most especially as a result of the offshore drilling moratorium and the subsequent slowdown in deepwater permits.

The Constitution cannot be understood because it’s so old?

The canard that the Constitution cannot be understood is a favorite of those who wish to find things that aren’t there and deny things that are. The 1803 Marbury vs. Madison case, in which the Supreme Court set itself up as the arbiter of the Constitution, and the following cases where the Court ignored the letter of the Constitution in order to find new provisions and dismiss existing ones has led directly to this.

The six pages of the constitution are simple enough that a high school student that couldn’t figure it out should not graduate. Is the language a bit archaic? Yes, I’ll grant that, if you’ll grant that the failure of the public schools to teach English. It’s certainly easier to understand than the deliberately obtuse 2500 page bills passed in the dead of night designed to restrict the liberties protected by the Constitution, in order to elevate “pubic servants” to the new aristocracy.

During a December 10, 2010 appearance on Roe & Roeper’s Miracle on Indianapolis Blvd. Holiday Extravaganza broadcast, live from The Venue inside the Horseshoe Casino, which benefitted the USO, GEICO’s R. Lee Ermey appearing on behalf of Toys 4 Tots took an opportunity to unload on President Obama, claiming his administration was destroying the country so that it could impose socialism.

To misquote Henry Higgins, ‘By George I think he’s got it!!”

Barf Alert! But you should hear this to remind you that Obama’s media are not you friends!

On the PBS NewsHour last night, Brooks admitted that President Obama told him a year ago that he knew that the “shovel-ready project” propaganda he employed to pass the massive Porkulus bill was bullshit.

Brooks’ New York Times colleague Peter Baker reported the newsworthy admission in an upcoming Sunday magazine piece. It’s an admission that received much deserved attention on the internet this week and that invited much deserved derision from Republican critics of Porkulus.

Why didn’t Brooks report Obama’s damning admission sooner? In another serving of bullshit, he claims it’s because Baker was more skilled at getting The Won to talk on the record. Seems to me the real reason Brooks didn’t report it is because he had his nose so far up his love object’s you-know-what that he didn’t see the scoop dropped right in his lap.

Also listen to these fools attempt to analyze the TEA Party. It sounds like they are trying to phrase the Dhimmicetins excuse as “We the unwilling led by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful, you should be thankful not kicking us out on our ear!” Yep! They really are that tone-deaf.
